SOLVED: How to prevent URLs in rich text from saving as hotspots

I found the answer to why urls typed into richtext fields are saved to disk as link hotpots in Notes 8 (unlike previous versions), as well as a way around it using an as yet undocumented field called "$DontAutoProcessURL".
